Description
This hike passes by Waboose Lake with a .25 mile spur trail that goes to the Waboose Campgound. For those wishing a longer hike, there is the opportunity to hiking completely around Waboose Lake on a spur trail. The trail east of Akeley Cutoff passes through a conifer forest with followed by mixed hardwoods. Meet at 9:00AM at the Trailhead on Hwy 64, 4 miles north of Akeley.
