Celebrate America's birthday in Park Rapids!
Plans are underway at the Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism for the 4th July parade, scheduled to start at 11 AM.
Featuring the New York Mills Marching Eagles band. Performing in this parade for the 5th year, the band has performed in the nation's second-largest St. Patrick's Day parade in Chicago, the National 4th of July Parade in Washington, D.C., the Calgary Stampede in Alberta, Canada, and numerous shows at Walt Disney World in Orlando.
This year our singer will be Simone Wolff. She is a 2022 Park Rapids Panther High School graduate and will attend the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire pursuing a major in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology and plans to follow up with a Chiropractic degree or a Massage Therapist. Simone is the granddaughter of Jane Wolff who taught her piano. She is a born and raised Park Rapids native. Her parents, Sharon and David, own Wolff Transportation and she has six older siblings.
Parade Route - Starting on Fair Ave near the main entrance of the Hubbard County Fairgrounds; 2nd St. to Main Ave. • Main Ave. to 8th St. • 8th St. to Fair Ave. and disbursing back at the Fairgrounds.
