Park Rapids Sings - a Minnesota Sings Competition

The Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Park Rapids Lakes Area Arts Council is soliciting YouTube submissions for the local Park Rapids Sings contest to select a representative in the statewide Minnesota Sings competition.

Minnesota Sings is a competition between cities throughout Minnesota that accepts 15 to 25 year old Amateur vocalists to compete for some great prizes and the honor of representing their city at the statewide event!  1st prize $2500, 2nd prize $1000 and 3rd prize $500 and of course, bragging rights for the community they represent. It is a celebration of musical talent to showcase the very best voices in our state.

Five of the online video submissions received at the Chamber of Commerce will be chosen to compete in front of judges and a live audience at the Bite of Park Rapids Sunday, July 12. The Park Rapids Sings contest is scheduled to start at 2:15 p.m. The winner July 12 will compete in September in the Twin Cities and represent Park Rapids in the statewide competition.
