Description
Armory Printmaking Intensive Workshop! w/ Dawn Rossbach
A series of 3 workshops will take place on 3 different Saturdays from 9:30am to 4pm with an hour-and-a-half break and cover a variety of printmaking techniques and forms. The first workshop, on February 18th, will give participants a chance to practice the block printing basics on different materials and learn how to utilize methods to introduce color. The second workshop, on February 25th, will cover etching and will introduce participants to the basics of both dry point and copper plate etching. The final workshop, on March 11th, will introduce participants to some more experimental options including gelli print, collagraph, and monoprints. While you can choose to attend these workshops individually, we highly recommend attending all three to get the most out of this educational opportunity.
