Description
Blank Canvas Gallery and Education is offering a workshop, "See-ology", to learn about oil painting techniques and knowing how ad what to paint when you put your brush and palette knife to the canvas. This three day class is being taught by noted artist and teacher, Sheila Rieman. Rieman has long time experience in fine art painting and is always willing to share her knowledge with others who want to learn about art and oil painting. The participant will learn to override the brain in terms of what is seen, the use of a palette knife for oil painting, seeing colors and shapes accurately and placing them on canvas, learn about color spotters - characteristics of light and its effect on colors. Also learn about local and environmental color and creative use of color in the painting.
