A program, Seeds to Bees to Table: How Local Agriculture Has Changed, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 14 at the Century School Cafetorium. Speakers and exhibits will inspire gardeners and those interested in the subject of How Local Agriculture Has Changed. Speakers will be Winona LaDuke on the Ojibwe Agriculture Community, Anne Morgan on seeds, Les Hiltz on bees, Sally Shearer on Extension and Ed Poitras on WWII Victory Gardens. Nine exhibitors have signed up and will answer your gardening questions. Exhibits will be open until 4 p.m. This free program is sponsored by the League of Women Voters Park Rapids, UMN Extension and the Kitchigami Regional Library System and is partially funded through the Legacy Amendment Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
