Description
Celebrate the Finnish saint who led the grasshoppers out of Finland. Join the people of Menahga on Friday evening in crowning the king and queen; eating corned beef, cabbage and meatballs at the VFW followed by live music. On Saturday there will be a whole host of events, from a pancake breakfast starting at 7:00 am, to a parade and a dance. There will also be "Changing of the Guard" at the St Urho statue and Bar Stool racing and KOLF (golf) on Spirit Lake. At 5:00 pm BINGO & the meat raffle will start. Enjoy mojakka (cabbage vegetable soup) for supper at the VFW. Mojakka will also be served all weekend at the Cottage House Cafe,
