Since the Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center is currently closed, activities will take place at an historic cabin site just 1,000 feet east of the Center. Watch for blue flag banners.

Families receive a challenge card and make decisions about conservation at various activity stations. Test your knowledge of eagles, wolves, beaver, waterfowl and more. After completing the challenges, don't forget to collect your prize! Activities staffed 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
The Minnesota Raptor Center will be showcasing live birds, including a bald eagle. You'll be mesmerized by these powerful raptors. Presentations in the outdoor Eagle Theater at 12:15 pm and 2:15 pm
Check out historic cabins built by early settlers of the refuge area.

Tamarac Refuge is turning 75--join a reunion of staff and volunteers at 3:00 pm for a piece of anniversary cake.
Reserve a spot for one hour Refuge guided tours by bus--an early bird tour will depart at 9:00 am, two more will be offered at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm
There will be a silent auction to raise funds for the Tamarac education fund.
Food, snacks and beverages will be available. Lunch served 11:00 am - 2:30 pm
