Taste of Dorset
Description
The Taste of Dorset is held the first Sunday in August, rain or shine it is a food and fun event, held from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Each business offers a great variety of foods sold outdoors in a great family setting. Portions of food sold at reasonable prices to please every palate. Mud balls, tacos, sundaes, broasted chicken, pork chop on a stick, spaghetti balls are a few of the items offered. We also have several musical groups to help entertain you and the family as well as a great variety of games for the kids. Play basketball, enjoy minnow racing, kiddy bowling and many more inexpensive games but most of all enjoy the food. That is why Dorset is known as THE RESTAURANT CAPITAL OF THE WORLD. Become a part of the extended Dorset family and run for Mayor. There is no need to be a citizen of Dorset to run for the office of Mayor since Dorset has no boundaries, anyone can become Mayor.
