Description
Zorongo Flamenco Dance Theatre presents Echos of Spain, a concert full of vibrant traditional flamenco dance, guitar and singing, and featuring an ensemble of critically, masterful performers.
The concert will be at 7 p.m. Monday, October 13 at Armory Square. Free tickets are available at the Park Rapids Area Library.
Inspired by the Avante Garde revolution in Paris in the early 1900s in which the glamour and fire of Spanish dance ignited the art scene, this performance will present songs, music and dances that echo the past, but with a contemporary spirit and virtuosity.
Artistic director Susana di Palma directs master gypsy guitarist Chuscales, powerful flamenco singer Vicente Griego and dancers Jesus Munoz, Deborah Elias and Colette Illarde in an evening concert that you will not forget.
