I am originally from Aberdeen SD, however, my family bought property on West Crooked Lake near Nevis in 1986 and that has been my part time home ever since.
I have a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling from SDSU and worked as the Executive Director of several non profit organizations for many years. I have experience in fundraising, as well as grant writing. 
My late husband and I moved south in 1998 and I became a District Manager for the National Association for the Self-Employed and I helped business owners with health insurance as well as other benefits for their businesses. After my husband passed away, I moved back to MN in 2019.
I love helping businesses and became an independent agency with David Allen Capital, helping businesses obtain capital funding and lines of credit. My agency's name is Loon Island Funding named for the small island on West Crooked Lake. I split my time between the Park Rapids area and the Stillwater area.
