The posted compensation range of $17.55 - $21.98 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Work in the heart of #humankindess at CHI St. Joseph's Health. We are seeking a part-time Utility Worker to perform the work necessary to clean and maintain the buildings and grounds of the hospital complex and including offsite facilities. You will perform scheduled (daily, weekly, monthly, annually, etc.) cleaning, mowing, snow removal, grounds work, floor care, moving, light building maintenance, and equipment maintenance. This position is integral to ensure continual safe and sanitary conditions for all patients, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Follows Infection Control Policies and Procedures, along with Joint Commission Standards.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance as assigned
- Utilize CMMS system to complete and document corrective and preventive maintenance work orders
- Maintain and clean all department floors areas according to establish standards
- Maintain and clean all public area carpets or floors
- Remove all trash, biohazards, soiled linen to designated areas for pickup
- Manage Infection and Hazardous waste collection, sorting and disposal.
- Maintain all grounds area by mowing or snow removal
- Restock any and all supplies within department areas
- Identifies and reports work orders to maintenance department
Qualifications
- Minnesota (MN) valid Driver's License.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred:
- Healthcare custodial or maintenance experience preferred.
