Provide Information, Referral and Advocacy assistance addressing the area’s broad range of service options pertaining to Children, Adults, Seniors, Single households and families. Train to be certified as a MNsure Navigator; provide client guidance through the MNsure application process.
- Develop a professional presence in Hubbard County as a representative of Community Resource Connections
- Develop, facilitate and participate in networking opportunities.
- Demonstrate the ability to engage with consumers, identify areas of need, gather information, and facilitate connections with appropriate services.
- Ensure data privacy requirements are met on an ongoing basis.
- Display the ability to de-escalate volatile situations.
- Comply with data privacy policies, grant policy requirements and policies provided by the employer..
- Provide accurate, timely and consistent documentation and reporting.
- Exhibit awareness and respect for the continuum of financial, cultural, racial and personal lifestyle choices that exist among clients, co-workers, and the general public.
- Actively pursue increased awareness of area resources and how they operate.
- Maintain regular office hours, welcoming walk-in clients and insuring a comfortable environment for all people. Be prepared to accommodate the public's schedules: occasionally working early or late to avoid conflicts with client's work schedules.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn about, navigate and teach others to navigate the range of state and federal health care options including Medical Assistance, Minnesota Care, Medicare, MnSure, and various tax credits available to Minnesotans as a result of the Affordable Care Act.
- Participate in required private, local, state, and federal trainings.
- Complete MNsure Navigator Training.

Required Skills:
- Must provide a valid driver's license and car insurance.
- Must pass a Background Study through the state background system
- Must be available to work on-site, in -office Monday through Thursday each week from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Email, Zoom.
- Ability to draft grammatically correct documents with accurate spelling.
Preferred Education:
4 year degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Health or Education.
Preferred Experience:
Work within a county human service agency, human service focused nonprofit.
