Become a Better Leader
Description
Become a Better Leader
This workshop is designed improve the leadership knowledge and skills of managers, supervisors, and lead employees in various business and industrial organizations. Sometimes managers do not realize that they should do more than simply give orders. They may not understand what it takes to lead, but a good leader is driven, accepts authority, and builds trusting relationships.
Frequently, we overlook employees who demonstrate informal leadership abilities that serve as a model to others, answer questions, and provide direction to colleagues based on their knowledge and expertise. Many times they exert significant influence on others although they are not in the formal chain-of-command. Including them in the leadership development process enhances their morale, rewards their efforts, improves job effectiveness, and prepares them for promotion to a management position.
This workshop specifically addresses the following topics: becoming a leader rather than a boss, coaching and mentoring, and improving your communication skills as a means of increasing organizational productivity.
