Park Rapids offers a FULL day of fun for the entire family on the 4th of July as we celebrate Independence Day! See below for direct links for further information on each event. Start your day with a 5K, end it with a boom! 

8:30 AM - 47th Annual FireCracker 5K 
New route this year! 5K race at 8:30 AM. Free 1K Fun Run for kids after the 5K. Register at raceroster.com. On-site registration July 3rd, 6:30 - 8:00 PM or July 4th, 6:30 - 8:15 AM at CHI St. Joseph’s Health. Click here to register.

11:00 AM - 4th of July Parade 
Our community's annual 4th of July parade includes over 70 creative and patriotic floats and features the theme "Salute to the Troops - Heroes in our Hearts". Come one, come all, and help us celebrate America's Birthday! Click here for route info or to register.

7:00 PM - 47th Annual PRCA Prowest Xtreme Bullride & Nightly Live Music 
The 47th Annual event, including Freestyle Moto X and PRCA Extreme Bulls, starts at 7 PM. Gates open at 5 PM. Two Weeks Notice will then play a show after! Get more info and your tickets at parkrapidsbullride.com.

7:30 PM - Park Rapids Community Band Free Concert in Heartland Park
The Park Rapids Community Band will play a pre-fireworks concert in Heartland Park, including a variety of music and pieces by notable composers.

Dusk - Rotary Fireworks Show
The fireworks display overlooking Fish Hook River and Heartland Park will be choreographed to music on KDKK 97.5FM and Hot Country 92.5FM. Pre-firework interviews begin at 9:30 PM. To donate to the Fireworks show and keep this amazing tradition strong, click here.
