Heartland Trail Celebration

Description

Trail supporters, advocates and the public are invited to a celebration of the connection of the Heartland State Trail. The event will be on Wednesday, August 2, at 1:30 pm at the site of the connection. Before history is made by driving a Golden Spike at the precise location, history will be made with words. Program particiapnts include: Officials of the U.S. Forest Service, a national Bicycle Industry Spokesperson, National & State Park & Trails Advocates and a Minnesota D. N. R. Official. All area elected officials are invited along with Chambers of Commerce Staff and Members.
