Ojibwe Forest Rally

Description

The Ojibwe Forest Road Rally is in it's 21st year and will be held at the Paul Bunyan, Two Inlets and White Earth State Forests on August 25th and 26th, 2006. Road Rallies include a competing team, consisting of a driver and a navigator, and are given a set of written instructions which are used to follow a pre-determined course. Each team drives the course independently, usually at one minute intervals, following the written instructions, or route instructions, exactly. On August 6th there will be an hour of coverage on ABC television that premiers the sport as part of the 2006 X-Games. We will have a special stage at the Bemidji Speedway on Friday night and on Saturday we a a Parc Expose' (cars on display) at the Northwest Technical College in Bemidji.
