Sons of Norway presents The Habbestad...
Description
On Tuesday, October 24th, the Nordskogen Lodge of the Sons of Norway hosts The Habbestad Ensemble from Norway for a musical concert at Calvary Lutheran Church, Park Rapids, MN, 7:00pm. Free will offering. The concert will include the Terje Vigen, a Norwegian Saga by Henrik Ibsen set to music by Kjell Habbestad. The Habbestad Ensemble includes seven family members singing, reciting, and playing violin, cello, flute and piano. Kjell Habbestad is a composer and a member of the faculty at the Norwegian Academy of Music; children are pursuing music performance degrees. This is their eighth concert tour in the United States.
