Lunchroom Monitor

Park Rapids Area Schools is seeking a Lunchroom Monitor 5 days a week 2 hours per day from 11am to 1pm. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, to provide assistance while supervising, and the ability to serve as a positive role model for students while providing a safe environment. Applicant should have the ability to be on your feet and active in an indoor setting. 

Tasks involved in fulfilling above duty/responsibility:

• Assist in responding to the needs of the students.
• Monitor proper student behavior.
• Communicate effectively with all members of the school district.
• Ability to direct movement of groups to and from the building.
• Take precautions to ensure safety.
• Promote proper care and safe use of school property.
• Report unsafe conditions to the principal and/or appropriate staff.

Performs other duties of a comparable level/type, as needed.
