Saturday Cabin Cleaning

Job Summary
Brookside Resort is a one-of-a-Kind Family Resort in Park Rapids, MN. Housekeeping staff are essential in allowing us to complete our Saturday change-overs and keep our cabins in the best possible condition. As an employer, our core values are: hard-work, respect, and teamwork. We are also committed to the health and well-being of our staff and the environment. Because of this, we use all-natural cleaning products. Most of our cleaning solutions are homemade and use basic, non-toxic ingredients like hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, essential oils, and Thieves cleaner. 

All job duties are performed on the property of Brookside Resort. All positions are part-time and Seasonal (from May - September), unless otherwise stated. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Working on a team to clean 5-6 cabins each Saturday shift 

• Cleaning duties include: bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms and decks 

• Making beds 

• Vacuuming, Sweeping, Mopping

• Cleaning Bathrooms 

Qualifications and Skills
A successful candidate for a Housekeeping position at Brookside will have a high ability to collaborate with others, attention to detail, openness to working with people of all ages, willingness to try new things, conscientiousness, be proactive, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to lift at least 25 pounds and to be physically active for the 4-6 hour shift. 

Compensation: Housekeeping positions start from $14-$18/hour, depending on experience and training needs. (If extensive training is required, candidates will start at $14/hour). Each Housekeeping staff member will also receive an end-of-summer bonus.
