Essentia Health offering Halloween-themed flu event in Park Rapids

The Essentia Health-Park Rapids Hwy 34 Clinic, located at 1103 1st St. E., will host a Halloween-themed walk-in flu event from 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.
 
Flu shots will be available for ages 6 months and older. There will be Halloween-themed games and prizes, and attendees are encouraged to wear their costumes. You do not need to be an Essentia patient to attend, and no appointment is required.
 
One of the best ways to protect yourself and your loved ones from the flu is to get vaccinated. Flu vaccines are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial and private insurance plans.
