Food Service Worker
JOB SUMMARY
Itasca State Park is seeking to build our team and fill multiple part-time, seasonal Food Service Worker positions at the Douglas Lodge Restaurant and Mary Gibbs Cafe located within Itasca State Park. Established in 1891, Itasca is the oldest state park in Minnesota and home to the headwaters of the Mississippi River. It is a top tourism attraction, welcoming over half a million visitors a year from all around the world.
The Douglas Lodge Restaurant has been serving area visitors since 1905. This historic lodge is nestled under tall pines near the shores of Lake Itasca. The menu features classic favorites with an emphasis in Minnesota ingredients. The Mary Gibbs Cafe is located at the energy center of the park. It offers visitors a casual spot to grab a sandwich or ice cream cone while they explore the Mississippi River headwaters site.
Salary Range: $20.21 - $25.05 / hourly
Work Season: May-October (exact dates to be determined). Optional recall each season.
Work Schedule: Part-time. Includes weekends, evenings, and holidays.
