The Theisen family opened for business in 1920 as a family run resort and remains that way in 2019. My grandparents were proud of their establishment as we are today.Family-owned resort that has been around for 99 years. We are located on 491-acre Island Lake near Park Rapids Minnesota. Nestled in the pines of northern Minnesota we are a short drive from Itasca State Park. We are on the Fish Hook chain of lakes.
