TWELVE Communities Come together to make a difference!

During the month of March, Northview Bank hosted a Food Drive in all twelve of their branch locations. The Food Drive was started to team up with the community to help give back to those in need. Donation boxes were provided in each of the branches and collected a total of 4220 pounds of food to donate to local non-profits. Some of the non-profits include Family Pathways of Sandstone, Moose Lake Area Food Shelf, Tri-Community Food Shelf, Floodwood Area Food Shelf, Deer River Area Food Shelf, Bruno Area Food Shelf, Second Harvest Food Shelf, and Hubbard County Food Shelf.

Northview Bank ran a friendly branch competition, encouraging each of their branch locations to use their creativity to create donation boxes in the branch lobbies. The contest was ran through their Facebook page, with their Grand Rapids branch winning the competition by creating a “Ready, Set, Start… Let’s-a Fill the Mario Kart” design!

At the end of the competition, all branches weighed their donations. The totals were: Askov – 302 lbs, Barnum – 42 lbs, Cromwell – 285 lbs, Deer River – 53 lbs, Finlayson - 255 lbs, Floodwood – 236 lbs, Grand Rapids – 245 lbs, Hinckley – 20 lbs, Kerrick – 181 lbs, Park Rapids – 2,365 lbs, Sandstone – 133 lbs, and Willow River – 103 lbs.

“At Northview Bank, staying true to our hometown roots means giving back to the places we call home. Our March Food Drive is just one way we can support and uplift those in need across our communities.” – Paula Diaz, Northview Bank President/CEO
